The aim of the course is to give new and novice gardeners a basic grounding in growing vegetables. Organic techniques will be taught and used throughout. At the end of the course the participants should be confident and skilful enough to grow a selection of vegetables on their own plot.
The course will be run by Bath Organic Group using experienced organic gardeners as teachers. The course will consist of 3 theory lessons on a Wednesday evening followed by 3 practical sessions on the Bath Organic Group Community Garden the following Saturday. Course participants will be welcome to stay on after the lessons to volunteer in the garden.
The price will be £6 per session or £30 for all six.
