Welcome to the website of Bath Organic Group (BOG).

Who are we?

Bath Organic Group was set up in 1986 to promote sustainable, local food production and organic gardening in and around Bath.
We are affiliated to Garden Organic.

What do we do?

BOG has a demonstration allotment run by volunteers to show organic gardening at its best.
Visitors are welcome to our site on Saturday mornings 10.30 - 13.00 and Tuesday 09.00 - 13.00. Feel free to join in with the activities or just have a chat and a cup of tea.
We attend the farmer's market in Green Park Station on the first Saturday of each month from April to December. We sell plants and our surplus produce from the allotment and from members own gardens/plots.
We also host courses and arrange talks and outings.
Every year we hold a Seed Swap in February and an open day on the last day of the Bath Flower Show. See events for further details.
We are happy to arrange schools visits.
BOG also helps run a trading hut with Bath Allotment Association selling seeds, compost, fertiliser and garden sundries at very reasonable rates.
